Project Background & Challenge

Operating industrial equipment in high-altitude environments (2,000m above sea level) presents severe operational challenges. Low atmospheric pressure, reduced oxygen levels, and extreme day-to-night temperature fluctuations frequently lead to engine power derating and voltage instability—especially under the severe dynamic impact loads of heavy drilling operations.

To ensure uninterrupted energy supply for the oilfield, a custom modular, multi-unit paralleling power station architecture was designed and implemented.

    Integrated with Mecc Alte alternators, the power plant delivers exceptional voltage stability and dynamic load acceptance, perfectly handling high inductive load swings from heavy 70 drilling rigs and artificial lift pumps.

  3. Modular Paralleling & Energy Efficiency

    The 4 × 1.2MW (16 × 300kW) modular paralleling architecture enables flexible power dispatching. Operators can seamlessly adjust active units based on real-time load demand, maximizing fuel efficiency while enabling non-stop maintenance.

  4. Extreme Environment Adaptability

    Designed with heavy-duty desert filtration and enhanced thermal management systems, the power station ensures 24/7 continuous operation under harsh desert and plateau conditions.
